The Helicore Fourths-Tuning Cello Set is designed to be tuned in bass tuning (E, A, D, G Ð low to high). This tuning pattern allows for a whole world of new chordal and scalar possibilities in alternative cello playing. It also provides a way for bass and guitar players to more quickly adapt to cello by using a familiar tuning. Like other Helicore strings, this is a stranded steel core set, providing quick bow response and short settling time.
